A New Teen Art Center in Pasadena

Pasadena ArtNight, October 8, 2021

Join us Friday, October 8 for an evening of indoor and outdoor performances, and distanced, hands-on artmaking.  Discover the magic of the GroWORKS Garden.  Please bring your mask and have some fun!

Music by Max Rahn & Bred Man

Our featured artist for ArtNight is original music by up-and-coming local musicians Max and Bred. Influenced by rap, hip hop, and R&B, their collaboration juxtaposes their different life experiences and background in a musical explosion. Get ready to jump!

Making Your Own Art

Artists from Learning Works’ partner organization, Armory Center for the Arts, will provide an evening of distanced art making and a screen printing demonstration. Easel activities will include creating mini “oil pastel walls” and painting small scale canvases with teaching artist Heather Hilliard. In the studio, watch artist Sergio Hernandez’s screen printing demonstration and take a print home. Stay a while to enjoy all of the activities and participate in hourly raffles of beautiful student work from past aerosol classes.

Pumpkin Painting

Choose a fresh mini pumpkin and show off your inner artist. As an added bonus, they double perfectly as a jack-o-lantern for Halloween!
